Take Action

The aim of Knowmore.org is to raise awareness of corporate abuse, and to serve as a catalyst for direct action against corporate power.

Ethical Consumerism is an important movement toward corporate reform, through which individuals recognize their own role in systems of oppression, and take personal steps toward resistance and  positive change.

However, the problem of unchecked corporate power is systemic and goes far beyond the scope of any single boycot or campaign.

KnowMore meetups are organized & hosted by local KnowMore volunteers. The goal of Knowmore meetups are to empower, unite, and activate your community's consumer activists.

Events can feature presentations, panels, as well as be the foundation for you to organize a campaign. For example a Washington DC meetup might feature "An evening w/WakeupWalmart & WalmartWatch" and the next month bring together the leaders of a recent campaign to present: "Lessons Learned From Getting Nestle Out of Our Hospitals".

KnowMore meetups are designed to bring people together with the common goal of holding corporations accountable.
